Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Airwafs is a product of Airwafs Developers LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how Airwafs Developers LLC may collect, use, disclose, protect, retain, and delete information in connection with the Airwafs website, app, and related services.
For privacy questions or requests, contact us at support@airwafs.com.
2. Information we may collect
Account and profile information
When account features are available, we may collect information you provide to create and maintain an account, such as a username, display name, login or contact identifier, profile information, and account settings.
Content and communications
We may process content you choose to create or submit through Airwafs, including posts, discussions, replies, private messages, group messages, images, videos, audio or voice content, reports, and other information you choose to provide.
Verification information
If you request account verification, we may process the information and evidence reasonably needed to review that request. Verification requirements may differ depending on the type of account and will be explained during the verification process.
Device, security, and technical information
We may process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP address, request and error logs, device or browser information, session information, timestamps, and security or anti-abuse signals.
Permissions and media access
Features that use a device microphone, camera, photos, or media library will request access only when needed for the feature you choose to use. Permission behavior will be disclosed in the app and can be controlled through device settings.
Payments and transactions
If paid features are introduced, payments may be processed by an authorized platform or payment provider. Airwafs may receive transaction identifiers, purchase status, refund status, and related records needed to provide the feature and prevent fraud. We do not intend to store full payment card details ourselves.
3. How we use information
We may use information to:
- create, authenticate, and maintain user accounts;
- provide posts, discussions, messaging, media, verification, and other requested features;
- protect users, enforce platform rules, investigate abuse, and support moderation;
- detect spam, fraud, automated abuse, account compromise, and security threats;
- operate, troubleshoot, improve, and measure the reliability of the service;
- respond to support, privacy, legal, and account-deletion requests;
- process eligible transactions, refunds, and related records when paid features are available; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Public and private information
Information you intentionally publish to public areas of Airwafs may be visible to other users or visitors according to the feature and your settings.
Private messages, private account records, non-public verification material, and non-public moderation information are not intended to be displayed publicly except where disclosure is required for security, legal compliance, or with appropriate authorization.
5. Service providers and disclosure
We may use service providers to host, secure, store, transmit, or process information on our behalf. Our current infrastructure is being built primarily on Cloudflare services, including Workers, D1, and R2 where appropriate.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or the service, investigate abuse or fraud, respond to valid legal process, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal and sensitive user data for monetary consideration.
6. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to reduce unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or misuse. Our security approach includes encrypted network transport, access controls, separation of website and application resources, least-privilege access, server-side validation, rate limiting, and security monitoring where appropriate.
No online service can guarantee absolute security, so we continuously review safeguards as the service develops.
7. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, protecting users, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, meeting legal obligations, and maintaining appropriate security or transaction records.
Retention periods may vary by data type. Some limited records may need to be retained after an account-deletion request where required by law, necessary for fraud or security prevention, or otherwise permitted by applicable law. Such retained information will not be kept for ordinary product use.
8. Account and data deletion
When account creation is publicly available, Airwafs will provide a readily accessible account-deletion option within the app and an external deletion method on the Airwafs website.
A valid account-deletion request will result in deletion of the account and associated user data, subject only to limited retention that is legally required or otherwise permitted as described above. Account freezing is not treated as a substitute for account deletion.
9. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or other controls over your personal information. We will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.
You may also manage available privacy settings and device permissions through Airwafs and your device settings.
10. International processing
Airwafs may be used internationally. Information may be processed in countries where Airwafs Developers LLC or its service providers operate. Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
11. Age and children's privacy
Airwafs is intended for users who meet the minimum age and consent requirements applicable in their location and under our Terms. We do not knowingly permit use in circumstances where applicable law requires consent or protections that have not been satisfied.
12. Website information
The current pre-launch Airwafs website is designed as a simple informational site and does not intentionally use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. If website data practices change, this policy will be updated before those changes are relied upon.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Airwafs changes. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and provide additional notice where required.
